From Wedding Fatigue to Creative Revival:

The Birth of The Tipsy Poet

While living in Houston, which served as my home base for my photography business, I found myself increasingly disillusioned with the routine of wedding photography. Each event began to feel like a repetition of the last—beautiful, but monotonous. I yearned for something different, something that would reignite my creative spark and allow me to explore new artistic avenues. That’s when I decided to make a change, leading to the birth of The Tipsy Poet.

The Wedding Fatigue

Years of capturing the timeless moments of weddings—bride and groom exchanging vows, the first dance, the cake cutting—had become a predictable cycle. The routine was taking a toll on my creativity, and I needed a fresh outlet to challenge myself and rediscover my passion.

Discovering Typewriter Poetry

Enter The Tipsy Poet. As I looked for a new creative direction, I stumbled upon the art of typewriter poetry. This literary art form perfectly combined nostalgia, creativity, and personal touch. It was an opportunity to break away from the norm and dive into something truly unique.
